Monthly Meetings
Monthly Meetings are usually the second Saturday
of each month from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Monthly Meetings are the high points of the Guild's existence.
Lunch is usually served and some type demonstration is usually scheduled.
Although they may be provided, bring eye protection and ear
plugs (for yourself and others you bring) to these events.
You may want to bring gloves, your favorite hammer and a pair of
tongs. There may be an opportunity for you to be involved in
practice and learning or you might be called upon to do a demo or
assist in one.
Charge:
Bring something for
Iron in
the Hat (IITH), buy some IITH tickets, and/or bring a dish for
lunch. All these things support the Guild.
Meeting Schedule: SPECIAL NOTICE ! !
! ! ! See details below!
Feb 27, 2010, 9AM-5PM. Annual "Pasture Party" at Judy &
Dan Boone's. Featured demonstrator will be Nol Putnam + a few
others. There will be a spouses' program as well.
Due to the extremely wet conditions and
snow still in the field, you are asked to park on the main gravel
road (NOT OUR DRIVEWAY). You can walk up
the drive and we will be doing a gator shuttle as well. Someone will
direct you on your arrival.
If you plan on tailgating, you will
be assigned an area
in the gravel drive next to the
field!
Please advise Dan or Judy
(in advance) if you will be tailgating
as space is very limited! As always, we will
be serving lunch. YOU MUST BUY IRON IN THE HAT TICKETS
TO SUPPORT THIS EVENT! This helps pay for the food and
expenses to put on this major event. You should also bring
stuff for the iron in the hat, you might get lucky and take
something wonderful home with you.
Please dress warmly as it's gonna be a cold!
Tailgators please contact Dan or Judy by phone @ 540-967-3267 or by email to:
jmbb1000@aol.com.
