Central Virginia Blacksmith Guild meeting December 12  2009 at Lewis Smith's home.

This was our annual Christmas meeting where no demo was planned.  Instead, we got to see some fantastic blacksmith decorative items in his home.  We had our usual candle holder exchange as well as Iron in the hat and a great pot-luck dinner.  Afterwards, we held the election of officers for the year 2010.

Quite a nice lighting fixture.  Lewis has so many unusual things there it's hard to see it all!

It seems a big hit for one of the desserts was from Marti Manson, the recipe is below:

2 c. dried cranberries (Craisens brand

Once melted, add several drops of orange extract and stir in.
Add the cranberries and chopped nuts.  Stir until coated with chocolate.
